Loss Control Services was established in 1996 and was incorporated in 2000. The principals each have over 15-years experience in the loss control industry.

Steven Mannai, Director of Operations, founded the company in 1996 after spending seven years with Kemper Insurance Companies in their Highly Protected Risk (HPR) and Loss Control Engineering (LCE) departments.

Michael Sullivan, Director of Inspection Services, joined LCS in 1999 after spending three years with Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. in their Highly Protected Risk department and seven years with Kemper Insurance Companies in their Boiler & Machinery, Highly Protected Risk and Loss Control Engineering departments.

Our inspections are detailed and precise, and undergo a thorough quality review process before leaving our office. Inspections are conducted throughout the Northeast region, including the islands of Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket and Block Island. Services are also available outside this core area as necessary.

Our inspection team averages over 15 years of industry experience, making our knowledge-base second to none. Risks ranging from multi-family dwellings to manufacturing facilities are our specialty! Reports are completed using our proprietary electronic form, which is emailed, uploaded or mailed to you upon completion. Of course, our staff can integrate your form or specific requests as needed. Digital photos and a diagram are always part of the package!
